“Helen” is the audiovisual profile of Agencia Ocote about one of the most important women in the fight for human rights in the region: Helen Mack.
This documentary builds a portrait of Mack, her work together with other human rights defenders, the legal system and the history of Guatemala; It seeks to explain how individual and collective efforts have promoted structural changes in the Guatemalan legal system and generated positive synergies for access to justice in the region.

Es cofundador, coordinador creativo de Ocote y editor de la sección cultural del medio. Poeta y artista multidisciplinar. Poeta y artista multidisciplinario. Ha publicado varios libros de poesía, crónica y literatura infantil. Su obra ha sido traducida a varios idiomas como el q´eqchí, inglés, francés y bengalí. Además trabaja diversos proyectos entre las artes visuales, la fotografía, el cine y el periodismo. Junto al equipo de Ocote ganó el Premio Gabo de Periodismo en 2022.
